Resident Evil 5 - Great tricks to gaining ammo

Post by Link on Mon Sep 13, 2010 6:57 pm

This list should be covered completely within a few years. Joking.

So, having trouble keeping your guns filled with ammo? Or perhaps you just wanted to have that extra bit in case of a boss battle? No matter the case, this should easily keep you stocked, inventory or merchant's room!

Chapter 2-1: Machine Guns.
-----
If you've gotten as far as Chapter 2-1, you'll notice that in a fancy case there is an MP5. Within easy reach of said case, there are wooden crates filled with (usually) machine gun ammo. At 30 apiece, you can easily stock up on ammo, quit, A+A (or X+X for PS3), and replay that level for a LOT of Machine gun ammo. I myself haven't done it yet, but Amy has abused her MP5 to the extent of nearly full upgrading it by Chapter 4-1. Congrats to her for the machine gun, congrats to me for...being awesome. lol

Chapter 2-1: Handguns

Yep, revisiting Chapter 2-1 has never been so great (unless you're me.). Also in the wooden crates should be some handgun ammo mixed with MG ammo. 5-10 apiece, shouldn't be too much to grind. Quit, A+A, lather rinse repeat. Very Happy

Just saying, but the MP5 is amazing. It's my favorite machine gun, even more than the SIG.
