The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask ~ Mask Guide

Post by Roxas on Mon Aug 02, 2010 2:48 am

As many of you know, VentusXII has utterly FAILED to even start on the MM guide. I'll be the one to take on the duty. Thanks!
----
Okay, to start:
Deku Mask
Okay, to get the Deku Mask, you must make a new file, and get up to the point where Skull Kid turns you into a Deku boy. Tatl will starting ***** as usual, so just head on over to the door, and press A to open it. Go forward, and Tatl will then try to make amends, by being a less annoying Navi of sorts. After that, go over to the flower-like thing (I'll call 'en Deku Flowers, that is the most "official" term), and press A and hold it down. When done holding, let go and float over t he chasm-like place to the next door. Enter the door, go into the next flower, and float to the RIGHT platform, and then make your way to the weird tree-boy. Skip him and go into the spirally green place, and you'll meet the Gay Mask Man. He is a pedophile, a gay one at that. Gives Tatl the creeps. Anyhow, finish his dialogue and get the heck outa there. You should now e in South Clock Town, which is the Traverse Town of LoZ:MM. You'll come back here alot, thanks to a Song. Anyway, Tatl will start ***** again, so head over to the Laundry Pool (area to the LEFT of the Guardsman), where the purple haired boy *coughKafeicough* appears from. Once there, snag the floaty orange thing, and head on over to North Clock Town. Go east, into the cave. Go to the center of the Fountain, and you get a Magic Meter. Get the heck outta there, and use your bubbles to pop the boloon that Jim is shooting at. He'll offer to play Tag, so do so and tag all 5 of those *******. Once done, he'll give you a code (DONT FRIGGIN LOSE IT!). Head to East Clock Town and talk to the Yellow-Bandanna and enter the code. Make your way through that cave-like entrance, to find the Astral Observatory. Make yir way up the stairs and speak to Merlin. He'll over you to loom in his telescope. Do so, and look at Clock Tower. You'll see ****** shake his ugly *** at you, and then a Moon's Tear will drop (possibly vice versa, mind is foggy). Get it, and go to Traver--er, South CT. Go to the Yellow Deku Flower and offer the Business Scrub your Moon's Tear. He'll give you access to the flower in exchange, which is well worth it. Wait until the night of the Final Day (12:00AM-ish), and float to the Tower. You'll get a cutscene with ******, and the OoT of last-game with be in his hands. Promptly shoot bubble, and o
pick it up. Link will experience memories of his previous lover, and learn THAT SONG. Play it, and you'll find yourself back in SCT, but time went back. Tatl will do some more *****, so enter the Clock Tower and talk to the Gay Mask Man. He will attempt to molest Link, but remembers that the game is rated E. He'll teach the Song of Healing, and you got the Deku Mask!

That's very long for one mask, though I think it'd probably be a lot longer given all 24 masks in the game.
--------
Great Fairy Mask
----

After obtaining the Deku Mask, leave the Clock Tower and head over to the Laundry Pool and collect the stray fairy again. Head to North Clock Town, take a left to the Fairy Fountain, and return the fairy. You'll get a flashy cutscene, then you'll have the Great Fairy Mask!

Use: Attracts stray fairies when worn.

You sure do like the word "flashy", don't ya? Thanks for the contribution.
-----
Blast Mask
-----
Head over to North Clock Town at 12:00 AM on the Second Day. (It'll be the 2nd day because it is 12:00). Once there, you'll get a cutscene with a greedy thief stealing an old lady's bomb bag (WTF is she doing with one, anyway?). Slice at the thief to return the bomb bag, and the lady will reward you with the Blast Mask.

Use: Wear it with C and detonate with B. Losing hearts is a side-effect.

I was lazy, sorry for lack of updates.
------
Mask of Truth
------
Enter the Fearful Spider House (Southern Swamp location), and talk to the Skulltula-ed Guy. Once you do so, he'll want you to R4 every Gold Skulltula in that house (mansion?). Once you exterminate every bug (you'll need the Hookshot or Magic beans...), you'll get the Mask of Truth. This can be done at anytime on any day, as far as I remember.

Use:Wear it to read the thoughts of Gossip Stones and animals.

We're on a roll!
----
Garo's Mask
----
This one requires you to have AT LEAST beaten Snowhead Temple, since you need Powder Kegs to open up Romani Ranch. You also need Epona, and her song.

Anyway, on any particular day (pick Day 1, in the morning), head over to the Gorman Racetrack (take a left before Romani Ranch). Once there, get onto Epona and talk to the Gorman Bros (Luigi Bros.). They'll mock Epona, and challenge you to a race for 10 Rupees. Beat them, and you earned yourself the Garo's Mask!

Use: This mask can summon the hidden Garo ninjas. Wear with C.

W00T.
------
Stone Mask
-----
You might as well get the Stone Mask after the Garo Mask, since they both require Epona and can be done as soon as you finish Snowhead. Anyway, head over to Ikana (the desert-like area), and use the Lens of Truth once you see a circle of rocks. The guard there is Shiro, who can't be seen. He is as plain as a rock, or so he says. Get a Red Potion, and give it to him. That will "heal" his invisibility, and he'll give you the Stone Mask for you to practice being as plain as a rock.

Use:Become as plain as stone to blend into your surroundings.

Whoa, never even noticed this topic. Hah.
-------
Bremen Mask
-------
Once you recover the OoT (that sounds/looks weird, OoT usually refers to the game.), play the SoDT and go to the Laundry Pool. You'll find a dude who some might recognize. Anyway, talk to him and either LISTEN to his crap story, or just spam A like no tomorrow. Either way, you got the Bremen Mask.

Use:Wear with (C) and hold B to March.

Adding up to that:
---
Le Bunny H00D
---
After completing Snowhead, getting the Bremen Mask, and getting PKs, head over to Romani Ranch. Once you do that, go all the way down the road and head to the Cucco Shack. You'll find Grog, and he wants his baby chickens to be adult chickens, who will ultimately migrate to Hyrule and cause some major distress for Link. Haha, kidding. Anyway, slap the Bremen Mask on and MARCH. March your way, collecting all chickens, and you'll eventually get them to be adults. Bunny Hood, 1UP!

Uses:Wear with (C) to go double the speed from before!

More.
-----
All-Night Mask

-----
This requires you to have the largest wallet available in the game. Amass 500 rupees, and bank them. SoT, withdraw those 500, and head over to North CT and save the lady. SoDT to Final Night, and at 10:00 PM, go to Curiosity Shop and buy the All-Night Mask for 500 rupees.

Uses:Wear with (C) to stay up long. Useful when listening to Anju's Grandmother.

Moar.
-----
Romani Mask
-----
Head over to Romani Ranch and do the Invader Zim sidequest. SoDT after talking to Cremia, and save her milk (and her uber hug if you already got the Mask). Once that is done, she'll acknowledge Link as an adult, and give him the Romani Mask.

Uses:Allows access to the Milk Bar in East Clock Town.

trolololol

Fierce Deity Mask
----
Get all other masks in the game, then at End-Game you go do the moon dungeons. If you do them all and get out all your masks, you will talk to Majora and he'll be like "Feel on me cuz I'm gaaaay". He'll give you the mask, then you'll play Oni. You can Song of Time and save, then get awesome.

Uses: Wear with C to transform into HACKS. You can only use the sword, and the mask is usable only in boss rooms.

Don Gero's Mask
-----
Head over to the Goron Shrine over by the Mountain Village. Once inside, play the Goron's Lullaby for the screaming child, then get a Deku Stick handy. What you're going to do is light all of the unlit braziers in the room, and it spirals downward just so you know. When you do that, the 5 jars that form a chandilier will start to spin, and you have to Goron Roll and bust the correct one open to get the Rock Sirloin. Carry that all the way back to the Mountain Village, and look for a Goron that is shivering. Throw the Sirloin to the Goron, he'll thank you, and then give you the Don Gero's Mask!

Use: Wear this to conduct the frog choir! The Frogs in Termina will gather at
Mountain Village in the Spring when you speak to them.

Circus Leader's Mask
---------
Step 1: Get all transformation masks minus FD. Meaning, Deku Goron and Zora masks.
Step 2: Do Cremia's milk run to get Romani's Mask, because you're gonna go into the Milk Bar.
Step 3: Get into the Milk Bar, talk to Gorman, then find the big fat fish dude (Toto) and play the songs in the way he tells you.
????
PROFIT.

USES: KEEPS THE GORMAN BROTHERS AWAY FROM YOU DURING CREMIA'S MILK RUN, ALSO SERVES AS FODDER FOR FD'S MASK.

Garo's Mask
-----
Alrighty, to get the Garo's Mask, you need Epona. Once you retrieve her, go to the Gorman racetrack, challenge those nutheads to a race (IIRC it's two laps), win it, and you have the Garo's Mask.

Uses: Look like a wannabe badass, summons Garos in the Ikana Valley, kicks ***.

Gibdo Mask
--------
In the Ikana Valley or wherever the hell it is (it IS in Ikana, I assure you), go to the Music Box House...oh wait, there's a little girl who thinks you're a child molester (Link is like...11? 10?) Anyway, get into the source of the lack of the water, and play the Song of Storms for Sharp. If you didn't get the SoS from Flat (no boobs xD), you're a complete dumbass. xD

Yeah, once you play the SoS the water will come back to normen, then you go the Music Box house after you distract the girl, and THEN you go down to the basement and play Song of Healing, you get Gibdo Mask.

Uses: Talk to dem gibhoes in the Well, Redeads and Gibdos won't buttrape you, and above all serves as crap for FD's mask.
