Explaining the OoT Fanboy.

Post by Link on Wed Aug 03, 2011 1:20 pm

That's the thing about OoT though - people who have been hooked by the original cannot see anything better than it. Honestly, OoT was near perfect. It's story was good, gameplay was great, sound was great (first time hearing Hyrule Field: oh my gosh.), graphics were great. People say that it's been improved upon - but the games which have 'improved' on OoT brought their own flaws that weren't previously in the game, at least not of that scale. For example, MM had a time limit and brought frame rate issues. TWW had the Great Sea, which needless to say, was a pain in the rear to traverse. TP brought useless items and a heavier sense of linearity [All Zelda games except LoZ suffer from linearity, but TP just overdid it]. SS may or may not fix those issues, and of course the new gameplay style will make a couple of people rage either because it's too active or any other complaints they may have. To an OoT fan, nothing can top it or even get close. It was the epitome of perfect back in it's time and it still stands like that to this day.

Well, I can't write up an article about fangirls as I'm not a girl, and afaik you, Kairi (where the heckles is Kairi?), Amy, Saria, Rebecca, SO3Fangirl,KoDO, and no other girl on TLoKH cares to write an article about them. xDDDD
